Wings for Children Inc. serves children 0-18 years old facing chronic or life threatening illnesses whose families cannot afford commercial airfare or whose physical condition prevents them from flying on a commercial airliner.
Currently flights are made within a 500 nautical mile radius of Pittsburgh. However, flights may be arranged outside of our service area on a case by case basis. How can we help you? If you have a child or know a child who needs air transportation to receive medical treatment call us at 412-469-9930 or 1-800-743-5527 to inquire about a mission flight. How can you help us? Wings for Children, Inc. is a total volunteer effort. Private pilots take time out of their lives to complete the mission flights at no cost to the families we serve. Wings for Children, Inc. is privately supported through donations, corporate and foundation support in addition to our own fund raising.
